Manchester City are reportedly considering a move for Barcelona’s Victor Valdes in the summer, over discontent with Joe Hart.
Valdes is confirmed as seeing out his Barca contract to the end of the season, when he will then depart on a Bosman.
Having stated his intention to try a different league, the goalkeeper has been strongly linked with Monaco, with the principality outfit reported in some circles as having already reached a provisional agreement.
However, the Mirror report that Premier League side City are also interested in the 31-year-old as a potential solution to developing issues with current No 1 Hart.
Manuel Pellegrini is said to be ‘out of patience’ with the England ‘keeper and has Valdes as top of his list of replacements for next summer.
