Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to talk about the Ballon d’Or after scoring a hat-trick against Real Sociedad.
The Real Madrid forward netted three times as Los Blancos defeated La Real 5-1 on Saturday afternoon, but the Portugal international has failed to comment on talk of the FIFA award.
“I don't want to talk about the Ballon d'Or,” he told reporters after the match.
“I demonstrate [my ability] on the pitch. And it doesn't depend on me.
“After going 4-0 up we started to relax, we took our foot off the pedal.
“But we fulfilled our goal today. I thought the team did well.”
