Kaka: Barca is Milan’s opportunity

Ricky Kaka has mused on Milan’s current struggles and suggested that the team should look to facing Barcelona as ‘an opportunity’.

The Rossoneri head out to Barcelona for Wednesday’s Champions League group stage encounter in disarray following a miserable run of League form.

“For us it is not easy to face Barcelona for the way that they play. The promise is that we will do everything that we can,” commented Kaka to Tiki Taka this week.

“For us this is a difficult moment, but the match against Barcelona can be an opportunity. We should try to play a good game, as we did in the reverse fixture.

“We want to leave our current situation with all our might. I will not make any promises. The goals and assists are technical aspects, but I can bet on the desire of the group.

“Against Barcelona in the first game we showed that we are capable of playing a great game.

“The [weekend] defeat to Fiorentina is weighing on us, because losing 2-0 at San Siro weighs. The problems are not resolved by talking, but it is a start.

“I will not give Massimiliano Allegri tactical advice because that is a facet for the Coach. What matters now is that we behave as a group and do what is necessary to be safer and happier.”

The Brazilian also had a word of advice for strike-partner Mario Balotelli.

“Mario is a great guy, he must understand that in the world of football he has his responsibility. Both with Milan and the Italian national team.

“He is a model for many people and must understand and better manage something that is so important.”
