Capello backs Juve, Milan

Fabio Capello believes that Juventus and Milan both have a chance of results this midweek against Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The two Italian outfits respectively face up to opposition from La Liga in the fourth round of the group stages of the Champions League.

For Capello, who has coached the Rossoneri, Bianconeri and Madrid, he sees his compatriots as capable of taking results this week.

“I saw the Clasico and I realised that the Blaugrana have lost much and at this moment do not have Messi at his best,” Capello has considered in today’s edition of Tuttosport.

“They suffer, even with Neymar. I think Milan have a chance.

“And in Madrid, against Rayo Vallecano, in their last game, Diego Lopez was Madrid’s best player, he made some miraculous saves.”

Capello in particular backed Juve to turn around a poor start to their Champions League campaign when they host Carlo Ancelotti’s men tomorrow night.

“Boss Antonio Conte has worked in an extraordinary manner. But you have to admit Juventus have invested on the market.

“I’m convinced they can do well in the Champions League. They have brought a player in Carlos Tevez who can make the difference.

“This Juve perhaps has more hunger and aggressiveness than mine. They have 10 players who play compact.”
