Sergio Ramos sat out Real Madrid’s training session on Monday and is a doubt to face former side Sevilla this midweek.
The centre-back featured in midfield for Carlo Ancelotti during the weekend’s defeat at Barcelona, but was withdrawn during the second half with discomfort in his thigh.
Whilst his teammates returned to full training on Monday, Ramos underwent an individual recovery programme working in the gym.
Whilst the defender is seen as a doubt for Wednesday night’s visit of his former side Sevilla, it is speculated that Xabi Alonso may be included in the matchday squad.
