La Liga talents up for Golden Boy award

Six Spain-based players have made the 40-man list for Europe’s Golden Boy awards to be awarded later this year.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport have named their list for the best Under-21 players on the continent, and six playing their football in La Liga have made the grade.

Raphael Varane and Jese have been included, as they hope to emulate Isco, who won the award last year.

Oliver Torres of Atletico Madrid, Elche’s Richmond Boakye, Sevilla winger Sebastian Cristoforo and Rafinha of Celta Vigo have also been named
