Diego Costa insisted that Atletico Madrid played ‘a great game’ as they defeated Austria Vienna in the Champions League.
The in-form striker netted twice for the Rojiblancos, and the Brazil-born forward conceded his delight at making his European debut this term.
“We played a great game,” he told reporters.
“I felt good out on the pitch and was very happy to make my UEFA Champions League debut in such a manner.
“Our way of thinking is to take things on a game by game basis, trying to reach our maximum level in each encounter.”
