Vilarreal boss Marcelino has admitted that he does not know how the international break will affect his players.
The Yellow Submarine play Athletic Bilbao on Monday, but the Coach has conceded that he’s not sure how his men will be after the League break.
“There are some teams that are more affected than others by this,” he told a Press conference.
“But our idea is to carry on how we’ve been playing so far.
“Athletic will not let us rest so I’m expecting a crazy game. They are at a very high level. They play with intensity and can score goals.
“You could look at it and say that they are not quite as tight at the back, but that itself is not a weakness.
“The way they play is to take a risk. They are a powerful side and it’s going to be tough for us.”
