Jose Mourinho has called Thibaut Courtois ‘the best young goalkeeper in the world’, and insists that the goalkeeper’s future is under control.
The shot-stopper is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid from the west London club, and despite rumours that Barcelona are interested in the Belgium international, the Portuguese Coach has claimed that everything is well between the Blues and the youngster.
“I do not worry about the interest from other teams,” he told reporters. “At the moment our situation is fantastic.
“Everything is under control. We control Courtois – not Barcelona, not Atletico, or any other teams interested in our goalkeeper.
“We have the best goalkeeper in the world – Cech. And we have the best young goalkeeper in the world – Courtois.”
