Rami grateful to Valencia

Adil Rami has reflected on his completed move from Milan to Valencia, thanking Los Che for allowing the deal to happen.

The centre-back has been shipped out to start training with the Italians this month, despite his loan move to the Rossoneri only officially able to go through at the start of the January transfer window.

“It’s a good feeling, I am very happy to be here. The Milanello complex is the best in the world,” commented Rami to Milan Channel today.

“I thank Valencia for giving me the opportunity to train in advance with Milan. During this time I will be able to get to know my new teammates.

“I already know Kevin Constant and Philippe Mexes. Their presence will help me to integrate more quickly into the squad.

“Milan is a big family and I like that very much. I have a very strong character, I think I can help the team and increase the competition for places.

“I have been following Milan for some time, it is a club who I have always liked.”

Reports are that Rami has agreed to forego as much as €100,000 a month in his Valencia salary in these months prior to Milan taking up his wages.
