Barcelona striker Neymar has reflected on his first few months at the club and qualified Lionel Messi as a “genius”.
The former Santos player says he already feels integrated into the Catalan side, where he has managed to make a dream come true by playing with Messi.
“It is the realisation of a dream, an inexplicable pride, and Messi is a spectacular player, a genius both on and off the field.
“Hopefully I can help him a lot on the pitch. It is an honour to play alongside him,” declared the Brazilian in an interview with Chinese newspaper Titan.
In addition, Neymar praised the support he had received from all members of the club, particularly compatriot Dani Alves.
“Thank God I was well received by the club, players, coaching staff, workers and the supporters. I already feel at home.
“I also had the support of Dani Alves, who helps me inside and outside the club,” he revealed.
