Neymar has reflected on how he feels he has not changed his playing style to fit in at Barcelona and that ‘everything is working out fine’.
Currently on international duty with Brazil, the 21-year-old continues to face growing discussion from his compatriots that his game is changing since moving from Santos to Barca in the summer.
“I continue to be the same, playing the same football and at the moment everything is working out fine,” Neymar told reporters when arriving this week with The Selecao in South Korea.
“When we made this decision [to move to Barca], we never knew if it was going to be a hit. It depends on you.
“Regardless of playing in Brazil or Europe, I wanted to evolve.
“The Ballon d’Or? That is one thing I do not worry about.
“What I want is to play the same football and help my teammates both at Barcelona and with the Brazilian national team.”
