CBF won’t stop Diego Costa

The Vice-President of the Brazilian Football Federation [CBF] Marco Polo del Nero has admitted that they will not stop Diego Costa playing for Spain.

The Brazilian-born Atletico Madrid striker has made two appearances for his home country, but with both of those coming in friendlies, he is still able to represent Spain due to his Spanish citizenship.

“Whether a player wants to play here or there, this organisation won’t be the one to say no,” he Del Nero told O Estado de Sao Paulo.
