Luis Enrique has insisted that his Celta Vigo side couldn’t face a better opponent this weekend than Atletico Madrid.
The Celestes have endured a difficult start to the campaign, winning just once all term. But the Coach has claimed he is happy to be facing the capital club on Sunday.
“It’s the best possible opponent for us,” he told a Press conference. “They will be on top of the world after winning the derby and beating Porto [in the Champions League].
“We will have to stand up to one of the best teams in Europe and there is no greater motivation than that.
“I’m optimistic we can get a result though. We’ve worked well all week and have shown a desire to improve.”
