Villarreal boss Marcelino was delighted with his side after they beat Granada 3-0 on Friday evening.
The Yellow Submarine eased to victory over the Andalusian team yesterday, and claimed the three points that took them above Real Madrid and into third position.
“We played a great game and achieved a great victory,” he told a Press conference. “Getting to 17 points this early on is very, very important for us.
“It was not easy. We knew Granada would make us suffer, but as soon as we got the second goal we started to relax.
“It’s difficult to win in this League, but my team are playing bold, attacking football.”
