Clarence Seedorf believes that Carlo Ancelotti will come good at Real Madrid, provided he is given time and patience at the club.
The Italian is already under early scrutiny for some indifferent patches of play from Los Blancos and a home defeat to Atletico Madrid in the capital derby last weekend.
However, Ancelotti can call on the support of a former ally, who knows too well the climate at Madrid.
“Ancelotti always knows what he is doing, give him time,” Seedorf has determined this week on Cadena Cope.
“He is a winner and we must be patient so that he can build. They have played some good games, which must give him confidence.
“He has always managed to have his teams play well and in the end also win.
“The club have decided to work with him to push the team up a level in Europe and win La Liga, and for that we must give him time.
“We were together for eight years at Milan and I can guarantee that he is a man who knows what he is doing, with courage, who likes football and has always been a winner.
“There must be greater tranquillity to develop his philosophy of play and the group, before judging his work.”
