Atletico Madrid have had tests today confirm that Raul Garcia is unavailable through injury for the next two weeks.
The midfielder had to be replaced for the final 10 minutes of Tuesday evening’s Champions League win at Porto after appearing to injure himself in taking a shot at goal.
Garcia underwent an MRI scan on his right ankle earlier today and the club have listed that results show a grade II sprain to the lateral ligament of the joint.
Subsequently, the player is facing a period of up to two weeks on the sidelines.
