Filipe Luis concedes that Porto are favourites tonight, but that he and his Atletico Madrid teammates are capable of a result.
Los Colchoneros are in Portugal for tonight’s second round of matches in Group G of the Champions League, level on points at the top with their opponents.
“Porto are a complete team that has good forwards, they’ve played in the Champions League for several years and are dangerous because they have quality players capable of scoring,” considered Filipe in his pre-match Press conference.
“It will be complicated. [But] it is very difficult to talk about favourites. Although Porto are favourites because they playing at home, we have great possibilities.
“We will play with humility until the last minute and fight. Porto are a side that have been seeded in recent years but we know we can win any game if we do the work we have to do and are focused.
“There is nothing more important than the team. Atletico will always fight for every game. The squad is very well balanced and matches up very well.
“We have demonstrated what we can do in the Europa League and the European Super Cup that we won last season.”
