Adil Rami says that he does not agree with Valencia’s decision to send him home in midweek for an outburst against the team on radio.
The centre-back is also believed to be suspended without pay ahead of the club determining a further sanction, after he went on radio to heavily criticise his teammates and Coach Miroslav Djukic.
“I want to respond to the sanction imposed on me yesterday by my club, Valencia,” began Rami on Radio Monte Carlo this week.
“It is an unfounded sanction that I disagree with. I regret this situation that clouds my relationship with the club and the fans, for those who have always worked with the utmost respect and perfect loyalty.
“These differences will be resolved with sportsmanship and dialogue with the club, as I have always looked for, and with an openness that characterises me.”
