Angel Lafita has handed Getafe an injury blow with the news that he faces a spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
The creative midfielder opened the scoring this Sunday evening in his side’s eventual 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid, but was forced off at half-time with discomfort.
Tests today have confirmed that the 29-year-old, who has featured in every game so far this season, has picked up a grade I sprain in his ankle.
Whilst no recovery time is stipulated, this type of injury generally keeps a player out for between a week and 10 days.
