Valencia President Amadeo Salvo has assured that the club will not be sacking Miroslav Djukic this season.
The Serbian tactician was seen as in line for the axe this Week 5, had Los Che not recorded a positive result against Sevilla.
However, following on from the team’s 3-1 win at Mestalla on the Sunday night, the President has made clear the board’s view of Djukic.
“Djukic will end the season at Valencia no matter what,” Salvo told reporters after the win, before later commenting further on Onda Cero.
“Djukic is our Coach and even if we had lost he would have continued. Djukic says that he has realised a dream coaching here and that deserves respect.
“You have to give these things time, there is no need to rush and in this case we will not.
“We have to invest in things so that for the future we will be successful.”
