Real Sociedad midfielder Xabi Prieto has admitted that his side paid for missed chances aginst Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Anoeta side lost their first Champions League group stage match 2-0 to the Ukrainians, despite dominating the majority of the game.
“In the first half we were the superior team but we didn't score and in the second we paid for that,” he told reporters.
“In the second half the team fell apart and we paid for the way in which we played.”
