Galatasaray could be without midfield talent Selcuk Inan for next week’s Champions League opener with Real Madrid.
The Turkish outfit, who were eliminated from the quarter-finals of the competition last season by Los Blancos, play host to them in next Tuesday’s opening night of the 2013-14 group stages.
However, reports are that Gala have serious doubts over the availability of creative midfielder Selcuk, after returning from international duty injured.
The 28-year-old is reported in his homeland today as having played a majority of Turkey’s international with Romania on Tuesday suffering with discomfort.
Believed to have aggravated an injury, it is speculated that the player could be out for up to three weeks, making his availability for next week’s meeting with Madrid highly unlikely.
