Dani Parejo has stressed the importance of Valencia beating Real Betis at the weekend, but claims the team are looking forward to the game.

Los Che have struggled so far this season, losing to Espanyol and Barcelona, but the midfielder has insisted that they want to put that right this week.

“The important thing is three points,” he told a Press conference. “If we win at Betis it will leave a good taste after two defeats.

“Betis are a good team and we know they will be difficult – but we go there wanting three points.

“Personally, I want to play every minute of every game. But other players are doing well at the moment.

“I just have to work hard and see if I can take my chance when I’m given it.”
