Ozil accepts Arsenal terms – report

Reports in England have it that Mesut Ozil has agreed personal terms with Arsenal and only a medical prevents his exit from Real Madrid.

The German international has reportedly been in talks with the Premier League outfit since yesterday, when it is understood that Arsenal put in an initial offer of €45m, acceptable to Madrid.

Whilst reports this morning were split on whether or not the 24-year-old was keen on the switch, The Daily Mirror and BBC are now running the line that he has been convinced and has signed off on personal terms.

It is understood that Ozil, who was seen as pushing for a €2m increase on his current salary to bump it up to €7m, only now needs to take a medical before completion of the transfer.

The attacking midfielder is currently on international duty in Germany and so it is believed he will undergo relevant tests out there.
