Kaka to Milan edging closer

Kaka looks set for a return to Milan this summer, after admitting that he ‘misses Italy so much’.

The Brazilian playmaker conceded that he wanted to leave Real Madrid on Thursday evening, and reports have suggested that the Rossoneri, as well as several clubs in England are interested in the 31-year-old.

“I miss Italy so much,” Kaka told Simona Ventura’s web television show. “Every time I get the chance, I am pleased to see my Italian friends.”

Sao Paulo Vice-President Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes also suggested Milan was his likely destination.

“We are always in contact with Kaka, therefore we know he is not interested in coming back to Brazil. We’re convinced that when he does want to return, he will choose Sao Paulo.”

According to Sky Sport Italia, negotiations over personal terms are not going well, as Kaka would like €8m per season wages compared to the €3m offered by Milan.
