Neil Lennon was downbeat for seeing Celtic paired with Ajax, Milan and once more with Barcelona in the Champions League group stage.
The Scots, who won through the Play-off round earlier this week, are preparing for another meeting against Barca, on from last year’s games at this same stage of the competition.
“It’s the worst draw we could have got. In terms of glamour it doesn’t come any better, but in terms of football it couldn’t have been worse,” mused Lennon to Sky Sports.
“There’s a lot of excitement. They’re three great footballing arenas and three great clubs with great pedigree in this competition.
“There’s so much to savour, but it’s going to be hugely difficult for us to get through.”
