Rosell denies PSG Pedro bid

Barcelona's Sandro Rosell has denied that PSG have made a move for winger Pedro Rodriguez, as well as recent accusations made against him.

Radio Marca have been running the line in recent hours that Paris Saint-Germain have come in for the 26-year-old Spain international in recent days with an offer amounting to €40m.

However, in presenting the club’s new shirt sponsorship package, Barca’s President took the opportunity to quickly address the rumour.

“There has been no offer from PSG for Pedro,” answered Rosell briefly.

The 49-year-old also commented on recent accusations that before his time with the club he was charging fees, alongside former Brazilian Football Confederation President Ricardo Teixeira, for arranging friendlies for the Brazil national team.

“I do not know if I have to explain what I did in my private life before I became President of Barcelona, but I will consider it.

“I do not want anyone to doubt me and I want it seen and known that the President is clear, honest and transparent.”
