Malaga have confirmed that they have signed midfielder Recio to a new contract and immediately also extended his loan at Granada.
The youngster has been confirmed today as penning a new deal with the Anchovies to take him through to June 2016.
In addition, the 22-year-old will spend a second successive year on loan at Granada, after the two clubs agreed to a 12-month deal.
Granada’s loan does not include a purchase option on the youngster, who made 15 appearances for Lucas Alcaraz’s side last season.
