Barcelona have confirmed the capture of Manchester City youngster Denis Suarez for an undisclosed fee.
The youngster was increasingly linked with a move to the Catalans in recent days, with reports of a fee of €1.5m having been agreed.
The 19-year-old former Celta Vigo youth has now been confirmed as having moved across to the Camp Nou, with Barca reporting that he has penned a four-year contract.
Whilst the fee is undisclosed, the Catalans also list that the midfielder’s buyout clause whilst in the B team will stand at €12m and will be automatically increased to €35m should he be promoted to the senior squad.
The player took to Twitter to express his joy at completing the move, posting: “I begin a new adventure in Barcelona and I am very excited.
“To join this club is a privilege.”
