Raul delighted to be back at Madrid

Real Madrid legend Raul has admitted he is delighted to be back playing against the club.

The Spanish striker is currently plying his trade for Al-Sadd, and they face Los Blancos in the Trofeo Bernabeu this week.

And the goalscorer has claimed that he is happy to be up against Carlo Ancelotti’s men, whilst also commenting on some of the team’s issues going into the season.

"I'm excited to wear Real Madrid's shirt again. Tomorrow will be a special day,” he told a Press conference.

"I'm very happy to come back home… to see friends and former colleagues. I hope it will be a great match.

“Returning to Real Madrid is always in my thoughts.

"I have one year left on my contract. I'd be happy to come back and work at Real Madrid.

"I left Real Madrid because I thought my time at the club came to end and I needed a new exciting project.

“I'm happy that Al-Sadd will have the chance to play at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“Casillas is a great professional and he will continue to work hard to help the club and the national team.

“Casillas wants to continue to play for Real Madrid. It's his home. Everyone has to stay united.

“I also hope that Ronaldo continues to play for the club. He is always hungry to win and to improve.

“Bale? He is a great player and everyone wants to sign him.

“Real Madrid's values are to work hard, to stay humble, and to show respect to others.

“Bale is a great player and everyone wants to sign him."
