Barcelona striker Neymar denies he is suffering from a reported anemia problem, according to AS.
The Brazil international has commented on his supposed illness and insists ‘nobody knows the truth’ about his weight loss after surgery.
“People talk too much. They don’t live with me. There is noproblem with my health. People make stuff up that have nothing to do with the truth,”said Neymar.
The 21-year-old underwent surgery to remove his tonsils this summer and maintained that “to lose weight after the surgery is normal”.
“I lost six kilos but I’ve put them back on. People talk a lot but nobody knows the truth”, he concluded.
Neymar is due to make his La Liga debut this Sunday when Barcelona take on Levante at the Camp Nou.
