Manchester City forward Alvaro Negredo believes that the Premier League is better than La Liga.
The striker moved from Sevilla to the Citizens this summer, and the Spain international has insisted that the structure in England is far better.
“La Liga is not as competitive as many would wish,” he told Movistar. “In this sense the Premier League is better, and is much more organised.”
The forward then commented on new Coach Manuel Pellegrini and joining up with Jesus Navas at the Etihad Stadium.
“Since I've been here I have not heard one bad word said about the Coach.
“He has done well wherever he's been.
“At Villarreal, Malaga and Real Madrid he did good things.
“Jesus is an amazing player with qualities to do well in the Premier League.
“His speed will help a lot.”
Negredo finally remarked on Gareth Bale's proposed move to Los Blancos.
“I don't think he's at the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, but he can get there because he has the quality.”
