Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has insisted Barcelona are wasting their time in trying to take David Luiz to the Camp Nou.
The Catalans have already had a reported €40m offer for the Brazilian international rejected by the Londoners, but Mourinho has told them in no uncertain terms that the central defender will not be leaving Stamford Bridge.
“The bid? It’s lost time for them,” Mourinho was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
“My advice to them [Barcelona] is to go to the second player on their list because they are wasting their time.
“We don’t want to lose our best players. No chance.”
