Penarol have announced that young midfielder Sebastian Cristoforo will join Sevilla this week.
Although the Andalusians are yet to confirm the deal, Penarol President Juan Pedro Damiani told Tenfield. com an agreement has been reached and that the player will become a Sevilla player in the next few days, subject to a medical.
“The youngster [Cristoforo] is getting his suitcases ready to travel to Spain this week and join the Sevilla ranks,” revealed Damiani.
The 19-year-old, who operates on the right-hand side of midfield and has represented Uruguay at Under-20 level, has made 44 League appearances for Penarol and scored one goal.
