Mons have announced via their official website the sale of striker Aloys Nong to Levante
The player is due to travel to Valencia on Friday to undergo a medical and, if successful, will return to the Belgian club to terminate his contract and join Los Granotes.
It is understood that Nong [pictured, left] will pen a three-year deal at the Ciutat de Valencia and, while neither club has released details of the size of transfer fee involved, is believed to have cost under €500,000.
The Cameroon hitman will link up with Levante at the express wish of Coach Joaquin Caparros, who now appears to have finalised his squad for the forthcoming campaign unless a high-quality winger becomes available before the close of the transfer window.
Nong, 29, scored 8 goals in 28 League games last term after arriving on a free transfer from Standard Liege, having previously played for Mechelen, Kortrijk, FC Molenbeek, Royal Liege and Vise.
