Casillas will be ‘respectful’ to Mou

Iker Casillas has insisted that he will be 'respectful' if he bumps into Jose Mourinho this evening.

Real Madrid face Chelsea in the final of the Guinness International Champions Cup on Wednesday.

And the goalkeeper has claimed he will not disrespect his former boss.

“If I meet Mourinho, I will be respectful,” he told ESPN. “But I just need to think about what is to come and leave behind what has happened.

“There are no scars.

“I am happy, excited and eager to start the new season.

“There were some good things during the Mourinho era, and they need to be remembered fondly.”

The shot-stopper then commented on the upcoming campaign, as well as Cristiano Ronaldo.

“The club have signed some interesting players who have a big future.

“They have chosen four or five players who shone at the Under-21 European Championships.

“For me, Ronaldo is the best player in the world.

“Given his numbers and statistics, there is nothing to discuss.”
