‘Valencia can achieve great things’

Valencia boss Miroslav Djukic has claimed that his side can achieve 'great things' next season.

The Serbian tactician has had to deal with the departure of goalscorer Roberto Soldado this week, but the Coach has insisted that his team can do well, even without their influential striker.

“Everyone here believes in this project,” he told a Press conference. “If we all come together we can achieve great things.

“Roberto has done great things for Valencia and we are grateful.

“But we are a big club who have seen big players leave before.”

The 47-year-old then commented on Sunday's match against Inter in New York.

“We want to win because it's important we get a victory in preseason.

“We've played well, but if you do not win, things start to decline.”
