Former Santos tactician Muricy Ramalho believes that Neymar has ‘a long way to go’ to be compared to Lionel Messi.
The Brazilian youngster signed for Barcelona from the Peixe this summer to much fanfare.
But his ex-Coach has claimed that the 21-year-old, although one of the best in the world, is not comparable to the Argentine sensation.
“Messi is number one,” he told Europa Press. “Neymar will grow at Barca, but he has a long way to go to be like Messi.
“I’m sure Messi and Neymar will work, there won’t be any problems there.
“Neymar is a good kid, and he has a lot of respect for Messi.”
