‘Valencia want €12m for Rami’

Adil Rami’s agent says that Valencia intend to recoup €12m this summer in any possible sale of the player.

The French international has been linked with a move away from Mestalla this summer and, despite Miroslav Djukic’s reported desire to keep him, he has continued to be linked with other clubs.

Clubs from Italy has been prevalent in rumours this summer, with Napoli and Roma suggested as interested parties.

According to FIFA agent Vincenzo D’Ippolito, one of those clubs is among those tracking the defender, who, he says, is available at a set price.

“There is no clause for Rami,” D’Ippolito told Radio Mana Mana this week.

“But Valencia want back at least the amount that they paid for him when they signed him, and that is €12m.

“In addition to Napoli there is another big Italian club interested.

“Is it Roma? No, I haven’t spoken with anyone from them in two years.”
