Jese Rodriguez has reflected on his delight at signing a contract extension with Real Madrid this week.
The 20-year-old was confirmed yesterday by the club as having signed a new deal with the club through to June 2017, ending weeks of negotiations.
It is believed that the forward, who last year scored 22 goals for the Castilla unit in the Segunda Division, has had his wage more than doubled to €1.2m net a year and promises made on an improved presence in first team plans.
On from Madrid confirming the duration of the new deal in a brief statement, Jese took to his official Twitter account.
“I am very happy to renew and to play in the best team in the world!” posted the youngster.
“I will give everything for this badge.”
