Jese renews Madrid contract

Jese Rodriguez’s agent has been at the Santiago Bernabeu today and reportedly signed off on a contract renewal at Real Madrid.

The young attacker, who starred last season for the Castilla side in the Segunda Division, had just entered the final 12 months of his contract with Madrid.

Los Blancos were known to have been keen to keep hold of the 20-year-old and in rounds of renewal talks had reportedly offered the player the incentive of first team involvement next season.

On from those rumours and others indicating that Jese will be handed a starting net salary of €1m and have a €200m buyout clause, reports today are that his agent has been in town.

It is understood that Gines Carvajal was this morning at the offices of the Santiago Bernabeu to negotiate further a deal for his client.

AS believe that talks progressed and that Carvajal has actually now signed off on a four-to-five-year contract for the young forward.
