Barca send out 23 to Munich

Barcelona have announced a squad of 23 players to face Bayern Munich and they have departed this morning for Germany.

With last Saturday’s friendly with Lechia Gdansk rearranged to next week, the Blaugrana’s trip out to the Allianz Arena is their first test of this preseason.

The group, which lists 12 first team players and 11 reserves, have this morning already left for Germany. First team players involved in the Confederations Cup have not yet returned to training and so are not listed.

After today’s game, the party will stay overnight in Munich and then continue on to Oslo on the Thursday for the Saturday friendly arranged with Valerenga.

For the first stage of the trip to face their former Coach Pep Guardiola, Barca will have assistants Jordi Roura and Rubi oversee preparation, ahead of newly-appointed Coach Gerardo Martino’s arrival later in the week.
