Ancelotti: Tito is a fighter

Carlo Ancelotti has sent a message of support to Tito Vilanova following the Barca man’s resignation.

The Blaugrana tactician stepped down from his duties at Camp Nou on Friday following a cancer relapse.

And the Blancos boss has claimed that he was sad when he heard the news.

“I want to send a message of support and encouragement to my colleague Tito,” he said.

“I’m sad about the news, but he’s a fighter. I want to tell him that the whole squad and the club are with him.

“We hope that everything turns out well for him.”

The Italian then went on to talk about the futures of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I don’t want to talk about Bale. I’m happy with the squad I have.

“Ronaldo is a phenomenal player, a great professional.

“His contract renewal isn’t my job, but I don’t think it’ll be a problem”.
