Thiago Silva has once more stated that he intends to respect his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, amid Barcelona’s interest.
The Brazilian centre-back has been continually linked with a move to the Camp Nou in recent weeks.
However, in tandem with his agent and PSG, the 28-year-old has maintained where his future lies.
“The rumours? I have a four-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain and I will respect it,” Silva told Globoesporte today.
“The season will start as the last one ended. I will wear the shirt of PSG. The Coach has freed me to enjoy my time off, but is counting on me for the Trophee des Champions on August 3.
“He asked me if I wanted to return earlier, and I want to do so on July 30.”
