‘Valencia should be a steamroller’

Miroslav Djukic has briefly outlined his specifications for how Valencia must take to the field under his command this season.

Los Che are set to begin their summer friendly campaign with a friendly against Karlsruher today in Germany, in a first game also under their Serbian tactician.

Brought in this summer from Real Valladolid, the former Valencia defender has outlined how he hopes his team will show face this coming season.

“Valencia must be a steamroller that works through the 90 minutes,” Djukic declared in an interview published today with his club’s official website.

“We will always maintain a winning mentality, in friendlies as well as competitive games. We have a good squad, we have added players with quality.

“Together we will be better as a team and as a unit and whilst there is no evidence yet, this team will go out to win games from minute one through to minute 90.”
