Jese Rodriguez is likely to remain with Real Madrid following comments made by technical director Miguel Pardeza on Saturday.
Jese’ future with Los Merengues has been in doubt, with the player himself admitting he was unsure whether or not the club wanted him to stay. However, Pardeza’s comments at Asier Illarramendi’s presentation appear to have clarified the issue.
“Jese will be staying with us. He forms part of a brilliant generation and has already shown what he can do with Castilla,” Pardeza stated categorically.
Club President Florentino Perez is another who believes winger Jese can have a vital part to play in Real Madrid’s immediate future.
“I have the feeling that [Zinedine] Zidane wants him to stay with us,” Perez remarked earlier this week.
The youngster still has one year remaining on his Madrid contract and has attracted the attention of a host of clubs following his starring role for Spain at the recent Under-20 World Cup in Israel.
