Former Spain Under-21 Coach Luis Milla believes that Thiago Alcantara would make a ‘perfect’ choice by reunited with Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich.
Yesterday saw Guardiola admit his interest in signing the 22-year-old from Barcelona, whilst reports soon after suggested that the player has reciprocated.
For one of the player’s former Coaches are international level, the move is a good choice.
“Pep knows Thiago, he was as Coach a reference in Barcelona, he finalised much the style of Barcelona and Thiago fits in with him perfectly, he fits in with his team,” Milla reflected on La Xarxa this week.
“Thiago is a player of a great level, there are not many like him and he could fit in at any team, and that he is going to a club where his Coach wants him and know him is much better for both he and Guardiola.
“Thiago is ambitious and that he wants minutes to play is normal.”
