Spanish fans have made it clear in a Marca survey that they want new Real Madrid signing Isco fast-tracked into the national side.
The Confederations Cup defeat against Brazil has had supporters questioning whether Vicente del Bosque’s team needs an injection of new blood, and many are now crying out for the former Malaga midfielder to make the step up from the Under-21 squad.
Isco, who will be unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday afternoon, has already played for La Roja after making his debut against Uruguay last February and was also called up for the games against Finland and France in March.
Second on the list of ‘must haves’ for the Spain team is Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara, closely followed by Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
