Duda signs Malaga renewal

Malaga have confirmed that club captain Duda has renewed his contract with the Costa del Sol outfit for a further two years.

The Portuguese winger, who has been with the Anchovies since 1999, has penned a new deal to remain at La Rosaleda until June 2015.

The 33-year-old is set as one of few first-team members from last season so far be guaranteed a place for next term.

“I’m so pleased my contract has been renewed. I always wanted to be able to retire at Malaga. Both parties reached an agreement, that we’re both pleased with,” Duda told the club’s official website this week.

“I hope to end my career here, having played at this Club for 13 seasons, which isn’t easy, but we’ve helped each other out a lot over the years.

“My family and friends are happy I’m staying here, and now I’m going to focus on enjoying being at Malaga.”
